In celebration of National Parks and Recreation Month, the Grove City Parks and Recreation Department has been hosting Popup Park events each week in July. These events take place at small neighborhood parks throughout Grove City, and each has its own theme. On July 15, the popup event was held at Holton Run Park and hosted jumbo games. Here, Isaac and Abby Baker of Grove City play a jumbo version of Connect 4. Another Popup Park event will be held on July 29 at Indian Trails Park. The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. but the time is subject to change. Updates will be posted on the city’s social media pages.
Valerie Schramm and her daughter, Chelsea play Jenga. The pair said they heard about the event through social media and decided to check it out.
Knox Wirick, 4, of Grove City plays with large dominos.
