The longest standing member of the Groveport Garden Club, Virginia Myers, describes the irises she has available at the club’s annual plant auction held on May 9 at Groveport Zion Lutheran Church. Money earned at the auction goes to several community projects. The Groveport Garden Club formed in 1961.
Garden Club member Virginel Branch holds her Russian aster perennial at the Groveport Garden Club’s annual plant auction. Branch is the club’s current vice president.
Marla Baker, owner of Sticks and Stones in Canal Winchester, acted as auctioneer for the Groveport Garden Club’s annual plant auction on May 9 at the Groveport Zion Lutheran Church. The plant auction is a major fundraiser for the club.
