Planter Party!

The team at Visit Grove City invited children and adults alike to “go down the rabbit hole” of adventure and fun as they hosted their third annual Mad Hatter Planter Party on April 13. For three hours, guests of all ages painted their own flower pots, received advice on seedling survival skills from Ryan and Marsha Mathews of Gidget’s Garden and Event Center, learned the fine art of proper tea etiquette and were able to meet some of the famous characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved children’s book. Shown here having a grand time at the tea party are (from left to right) Eowyn Barber, Amanda Davis, Teresa Breckenridge and Tiffany Kirkbride. They were dressed as Alice Liddell, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the White Rabbit, respectively.
