Pickin’ out some fine tunes

The Muleskinner Band performed bluegrass and country western tunes in Heritage Park on June 17 as part of the Groveport Summer Concert Series. Band members are, from left to right, Bill Purk on mandolin, Dan Russell on banjo, Floyd Alexander on bass, and Kenny Hanuska on guitar. To learn more about the band, visit muleskinnerband.com. The Groveport Summer Concert Series continues on July 15 when the NACHO Street Band (Nationwide Children’s Hospital Orchestra made up of mostly brass and percussion) will perform at 6 p.m. at Groveport’s Heritage Park 551 Wirt Road. Inclement weather location will be in the Groveport Town Hall, 648 Main St.
