The Westbrook Eastfield Neighborhood Association’s 11th annual National Night Out celebration, held Aug. 5 at Findland Elementary School, was a huge success. In attendance were members of the Franklin Township Fire Department, who helped children through the traveling safety house, which was provided by the Jackson Township Fire Department. Above, a firefighter helps 6-year-old Madison Swain climb down the ladder of the safety house.

Dinner was free to all who attended, as was a sno-cone dessert. Here, Kathy Howard and Coletta Speakman serve a cone to Kathleen Williamson Thacker.
