Chris Hanscel of Plain City drives his 1984 Chevy in the 6,500-pound class at the June 14 truck pull at the Madison County Fairgrounds. The pull was the first in a series of pulls the Madison County Agricultural Society is sponsoring this year.

Fans sit in the back of a small dump truck to catch some of the action.
Steve Underwood of Mount Gilead, Ohio, broke his driveshaft as he pulled the sled 313.6 feet. His 1985 Chevy is named Always Broke.
