Students from Park Street Intermediate School wanted to make a difference this holiday season so they teamed up with the Salvation Army for the first annual Stuff-a-Bus campaign. The students worked to help needy families by collecting new toys for kids under the age of 12. The toy drive kicked off at the school’s "Movie Night at the Park" with all the proceeds and toys going toward the campaign. On Dec. 5, the students got to ride in the stuffed (SWCS) bus at the Grove City Winter Lights Holiday Parade. Above, several students get ready to stuff the bus with toys. They also collected toys during the parade. Andy Stotz, who helped organize the effort said the students hope to continue the program next year. |
