 It was a record pace. Central Crossing High School’s Matt Shaffer takes the hand off from Nick Frye to run the final leg of the Middle Distance Medley Relay at the April 5 seventh Annual Red Raider Relay held at London High School. In this event the first two runners each run 200 meters, the third runs 400 meters and the anchor finishes with 800 meters. The Comets team won the event with a meet record of 3:48.3.

 Central Crossing High School girls took the win in the shuttle hurdle event at the Red Raider Relay. Out of the 10 teams competing in the event the Comet foursome of sophomore Julia Champman, freshman Ashley Boivin, seniors Veronica Brienzi, and Bethany Walters (shown here), came out on top with a time of 73.2. The girls team finished second overall.

 Franklin Heights High School claimed  Sprint Medley wins in both boys and girls events at the seventh Annual Red Raider Relays. Running segments of 100,100,200 and 400 meters the girls team of Parks, Ghoulson, Dawkins and freshman Simone Williams shown here completing the final leg, finished with a top time of 1:56.8.

 Bishop Ready Ready senior Mary McAllister takes the baton from fellow senior Sarah Welsh-Huggins to start the the final 800 meter leg of the Girls Middle Distance Medley, at the seventh annual Red Raider Relay which took place April 5 at London High School. With sophomore Heather Manning, and senior Jenna McAndrews each running 200 meters, and Welsh-Huggins on the 400 meter leg, the Silver Knight’s relay team took second place out of the 15 teams in the event with a time of 4:53.1
