Grove City resident, 8-year-old, Zach Collins wrestled his way to a 56 pound Championship in the 7-8 year old class of the OURWAY Regional Wrestling Tournament. The youth tournament was held Feb. 10 at the OSU French Field House. About 460 wrestlers, ages 5-14, took to the mats for a chance to qualify for the state championship. Collins, of Richard Avenue Elementary School, did just that and will wrestle at Nationwide Arena on March 2 as part of the Arnold Sports Festival.
Owen Lasko, of Grove City, had his game face on as he was ready to start his championship match in the 58 pound class at the tournament. Lasko had to settle for the runner up spot but he will advance to the state championships.
