National Night Out, which took place on Aug. 7, was a huge success all over town, despite the sweltering heat. Franklin Township firefighter David McGee helps two young girls climb down from the safety house, which was provided by the Jackson Township Fire Department at the event held by the Westbrook-Eastbrook Neighborhood Association.

 
 By the long line that quickly formed, the burgers at the Westbrook-Eastbrook celebration seemed to be a hit.
