Hundreds of people lined both sides of Main Street for London’s Independence Day parade. Sports teams, political candidates, non-profit groups, and more put on a great display.

The Madison County Special Olympics program has enjoyed lots of success in a variety of sports this year.

Representatives of Merri-Mac Miracle wave to the crowd. The non-profit group is working to make improvements to London’s Merri-Mac Park.
Wayne Roberts, executive director of the Friends of Madison County Parks & Trails, rides his recumbent bike, accompanied by several other bike enthusiasts. The group recently dedicated a mural series along the bike path that runs through London.
The 2023 London Strawberry Festival royalty, crowned just a couple of weeks ago, float along the parade route.
