Since 2000, London High School art teacher Stacey Hallowes and her students have raised money to purchase gifts for the HELP House toy giveaway at Christmas. This year, the group raised its most money to date, $1,142.45 ($287 of which came from Jingle-grams sold by Stacey Alderman’s students at London Elementary). The high school art students raised their funds in nine days simply by asking for cash donations from fellow students. On Dec. 14, Art IV students (from left) Robby Stillings, Kurt Lattimer and Kaethi Nolan went on a shopping trip to purchase clothing and toys, which they then delivered to HELP House. |
