Local musician George Mobley can usually be found on stage with McGuffey Lane or the George Mobley Band, but at the Feb. 21 Georgian Heights Family Fun Night, Mobley took the opportunity to play to a much younger crowd. Students and their families were invited to sing along with around the makeshift campfire, make smores, get free tattoos, make bracelets, smile for the camera, and decorate their own guitars to “play along” with. The event was sponsored by the Georgian Heights PTA and looks to be an annual event.

The Georgian Heights teaching staff got in on the fun as well. Mrs Halliday (left) and Mrs Powers (right) played along with George Mobley and the kids.
