Thousands of central Ohioans flocked to the Franklin County Fair that ran from July 14 through 21 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard. This year the Hambone Express Racing Pigs was a big family hit as children watched four little piglets race one another for a small cookie. Kids even got to place bets as to which fine swine would take the prize. There was a petting zoo and plenty of farm animals raised by 4-H Club kids and up for sale. JoyUnspeakable, a living statue (mime) was also on hand to keep fair patrons captivated and guessing what his next move would be. |
