Bob Thomas, of London (above), scoops out some homemade ice cream from his old fashioned tractor at the Harrisburg Homecoming on Aug. 2. This was the first year Thomas brought his ice cream-making machine to the homecoming. It takes approximately one hour to make five gallons of ice cream. He serves vanilla, chocolate and butter pecan. Pictured below, 14-month-old Brooklynn Obyrne takes home the third place prize in the baby beauty pageant. The annual Harrisburg Homecoming celebrates those who have served our country. It ran from Aug. 2-5.
