The 113th Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery Memorial Service was held June 1. The service, which is decicated to the 2,260 Americans interred at the cemetery, attracts an audience from all around ohio each year. This year’s address was given by John Morgan, a descendant of George Morgan, who is buried there. Pictured, Westside resident Jim Terry bows his head in prayer during the invocation presented by Rev. Gerald Koster. See more photos of the event when you read the Westside Messenger online. Visit www.columbusmessenger.com.

Bugler for the ceremony was Ralph Erb, Honor Guard member of the American Legion Post 164 in Grove City.
