| Shiloh Mennonite Church welcomes
Hershberger as new senior pastor Brian Hershberger was installed as the senior pastor at Shiloh Mennonite Church in Resaca on July 13. Brian and his wife, Sharla, have four children: Michaela (13), Kelsey (11), John Michael (8), and Benjamin (6). The Hershberger family moved to the area from Mount Dora, Fla., where Brian served as the senior pastor at Trinity Chapel for 10 years. Serving in the ministry at Shiloh with Brian are associate pastors Arnold Shetler, Jerry Troyer and youth pastor Rob Miller. Worship times are: Sunday School, 9:30 a.m. followed by the worship service at 10:15 a.m. Shiloh is located at 7521 Woods West Ave., London. |

| Cloverbuds camp out at park
The 2008 Madison County Cloverbud Day Camp, for 4-H members who are 5 to 8 years old, was held at Prairie Oaks Metro Park. Park naturalist Jen Rosa led a nature scavenger hunt and hike. Campers also examined animal pelts and antlers and enjoyed crafts, an obstacle course, climbing ropes and rock climbing. Participants included: Ruth Peart, Kelsea Beachy, Hope Lewis, Addison Curry, Spencer Rubel, Hunter Nichols, Hope Fetherolf, Joy Fetherolf, Lexi Daily, Jessi Minner, Regan Rubel, Braden Mast, Riley North, Macy Burchett, Lilly Marriott, Zoe Hutson, Abbie Hutson, Brennen Rehl, Hunter Storm, Trent Gos, Alexa Wolgemuth, Savanah Garverick, and teen counselors Emily Davis and Danielle Stockham. |
