| The first annual Grove City Amazing Race took place on July 12. Here, Joseph Lehman, Joe Arrasmith, Dave Arrasmith and Jim Lehman signal that they took first place out of the 16 teams who competed in the event, finishing in a little over an hour. Some of their tasks included going down both slides at the Big Splash, doing laps at Skate America, catching a fish at Fryer Park, washing the car of a stranger, finding food donations for the Food Pantry and finding a garden gnome in the herb garden at Gantz Park. Grove City Parks and Recreation Director Kim Conrad said this will be an annual event.
