Columbus City Councilwoman Priscilla Tyson presents filmmaker Spike Lee with a resolution in honor of his receiving the 2008 Wexner Prize at a Feb. 11 meeting. Lee, director of Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X (which had its world premiere here) and the documentary When the Levees Broke, was scheduled to speak to Ohio State University students Feb. 12 before an evening presentation. Council members urged Lee to return and consider Columbus as a location for one of his future projects.
