 Central Crossing High School senior, Jason Faiella made a return appearance to the State Wrestling Tournament held Feb. 28 – March 1. He got off to a good start in his opening match (shown above) against Steve Mielnik of Painsville Riverside. Faiella won by a pin, and would go on to win three more of his six matches and take fourth place among the top 16 171 pound Division I wrestlers in the state. Jason was joined by teammates, 103-pound freshman, Andrew Higgins, and 125-pound junior, Austin Sanders whom each claimed a win in front of the Schottenstein Center crowd in their first trip to the state spectacle.
