Four people were inducted into the London High School Athletic Hall of Fame on Oct. 12. Honorees included (from left) Roger Tingley, Bob Dillingham, Ruth Chadwell representing the late Ray Chadwell, and Ronnie Wilson. Tingley (Class of 1967) played football, baseball, basketball and track at London; he was a big contributor on London’s undefeated 1966 team; he later played and coached college football. Dillingham was a top athlete at London (Class of 1965) in football, track and basketball, setting school records and participating on championship teams. Dillingham also was a member of Purdue University’s Rose Bowl champion-ship team in 1967. Chadwell was a basketball, baseball and football coach at London in the 1950s, ’60s and early ’70s. Wilson (Class of 1986) is one of London’s top 10 all-time leading scorers in basketball; he also lettered in football and baseball and excelled academically and athletically at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
