Photo: Gantz gardens get buzzworthy

Messenger photo by Andrea Cordle

Bee careful when you stop to smell the flowers – it’s bee season. Large bumblebees littered the garden at Gantz Farm to hunt for pollen. Pictured here is a bee near the French Lavender plant, which has a sweet scent the insects are attracted to. Bees also swarmed around the Provence Lavendin, Purple Coneflower, Lily of the Valley and Bee Balm flowers. Remember if you don’t bug them, they won’t bug you.
