| The FC Phoenix Team USA was recently crowned winners of the Ohio Futsal League Girls U12/U13 Division. The girls finished with a record of 5-1-1 to win their division. Futsal is a Brazilian-style of indoor soccer, played with a smaller, heavier ball and only five girls, including a goalie. The girls will begin a second session of futsal this month, played at the Batter’s Box Academy in Reynoldsburg. Team USA is made up of players from the FC Phoenix Elite and FC Phoenix Premier U12 Girls soccer teams.
