Pet Day at Tolles on April 18

The FFA chapter at Tolles Career and Technical Center will sponsor a Pet Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 18 at the school, 7877 U.S. Route 42 S, Plain City.

Students in the Animal Management & Services program will offer nail trimming and dog bathing for a donation.

The Humane Society of Madison County will showcase some of their adoptable dogs. They also will bring the Tour For Life 2015 Bus, the world’s largest cooperative of life-saving adoption event that is visiting 40 cities in 25 states plus Washington D.C.

Madison County dog licenses will be for sale for $29. The Humane Society also can microchip dogs for $25.

Dr. Coate from Sunnyside Vet Clinic will host a vaccination clinic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Available vaccinations for cats: Felv+Rccp, Rccp, and rabies. Available vaccinations for dogs: DAPPC, DAPPL, rabies one year, and Bordatella.

Proof of current rabies vaccination must be presented for services, and all Humane Society policies and procedures will be followed to adopt any dog.
