Paying homage to the fallen on Memorial Day

On May 27, hundreds of families throughout the southwest area gathered together in the city of Grove City for the annual Memorial Day Parade and Service. Hosted by American Legion Paschall Post 164 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 8198, the commemorative event pays homage to the men and women of the military who have died while in service to their country. Here, Army veteran and American Legion member Jason Norris salutes the flag during the playing of the national anthem during the parade.
Grove City High School ROTC cadets march to the Grove City Cemetery for the memorial service.
The Central Crossing High School Marching Band performs at the parade.
The John Hoover Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution walk in the parade.
