| It’s Franklin County Fair time and that brings to mind the agrarian past of Madison Township. Pictured here is Dick McCollister in 1947 with his Columbus Junior Livestock Show grand champion steer. The steer weighed 1,030 pounds and was sold to the Deshler-Wallick Hotel in Columbus for $1,854. |
