 Pictured here from a photo from the 1890s is Groveport’s Bert Williams as a young lad as he pulls the family dog in a cart in the yard of his family’s Main Street home. Williams would grow up to become the symphony/orchestra director at the Ohio Theatre in Columbus in 1926. He was also a master organist and composer. Williams was born in 1890 and passed away in 1959.
