The London Rotary Club is pleased to honor senior Olivia Davitt as LondonHigh School’s November Student of the Month.

Students of the month are selected by school administrators based on their academic and extracurricular achievement and positive character.

Olivia has a 4.302 grade point average, is ranked eighth in her class, and states her favorite class is anatomy. Olivia has been on the Merit Honor Roll for four years and has been a member of National Honor Society for two years, currently serving as secretary. She has served on the student council for three years and is this year’s president. Olivia is a five-year member of the LHS band, has been involved in LHS theater the past three years, and is a stage manager. She has been a member of the Quick Recall team for three years and Diversity Club for two years.

When asked to name a school staff person who inspires her, Olivia cited high school social studies teacher Tim Coudret.

“Mr. Coudret inspires me because he is a consistently kind and understanding teacher who reminds me to see the positives,” she said.

About Olivia, Coudret said, “Olivia is simply everything you want in a student. She has a fantastic work ethic, is intelligent, and, most importantly, Olivia is a genuinely kind person who is just an absolute pleasure to have in class. I know that wherever her future pathway takes her, Olivia will be a wonderful example of what happens when a person works hard, treats all with respect and empathy, and understands the importance of being involved in their community. I look forward to her many future successes!”

Olivia plans to attend a four-year university. She is the daughter of Ron and Tiffany Davitt of London.

The London Rotary Club has a proud history dating back to 1929. It is a member of Rotary International, a volunteer organization of 1.2 million businesses and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service and help build good will and peace.
