Obetz will celebrate the Fourth of July with fun at the Fortress!

“Join us for an unforgettable evening at our Famous Fortress Fireworks on July!” said Obetz Mayor Angela Kirk. “We are excited to bring the community together for a night filled with food trucks, inflatables, yard games, and live music from Stadium 11, all leading up to our spectacular fireworks show. The city of Obetz events are designed to bring together neighbors, families, and friends to strengthen our community bond and foster a sense of unity among our residents. We hope to see you all there!”

The Famous Fortress Fireworks will be held on July 3 and be set off behind the Fortress at approximately 9:50 p.m. The Fortress is located at 2015 Recreation Trail, Obetz.

From 6-10 p.m. on July 3 there will be food trucks, inflatables, and more at the Fortress.

“The Famous Fortress Fireworks event begins at 6 p.m. at the Fortress,” said Obetz Public Relations Manager Kaitlin Duncan. “There will be food trucks including Penn Station, 3 Flame BBQ, Schmidt’s, Pitabilites, Kona Ice, Spanglish, Squeaky’s Cheese Curds, and Kin Folk Coffeehouse. On the field there will be inflatable obstacle courses and slides for the kids, as well as yard games, and we will also have live music from Stadium 11.”
Gates open at 6 p.m. and everything will kick off around then.

According to Duncan, Obetz does not hold a Fourth of July parade.
