The following are the unofficial results of the Nov. 7 general election, as released by the Madison County Board of Elections on election night. A (*) denotes the top vote-getters as of Nov. 7.

The unofficial tally does not include: 1) absentee ballots postmarked by Nov. 6 and received by the elections board by Nov. 17; 2) provisional ballots. According to Tim Ward, elections board director, 70 provisional ballots were cast. The elections board will certify the official vote on Nov. 28.
