Groveport Madison Middle School wrestler Jace Nincehelser has had a stellar season finishing the year with a record of 27-0 that includes 23 pins. Fourteen of his wins came wrestling at 128 pounds and 13 came at 122 pounds. Over the past two seasons he has compiled a record of 52-3. Nincehelser is pictured here after winning a recent match. “Jace is an extremely focused young man,” said his coach, Tommy Snyder. “He’s a great leader making the guys around him better. Jace is what I call the perfect wrestler. He’s a really nice kid, very friendly until he walks up to the mat. He will tell me everything he’s going to do on his way up to shake their hand. Jace is working hard to become bigger, not only for wrestling, but he wants to play high school football. In 1986-87 I went undefeated at Groveport and Jace is the first wrestler I’ve coached to do the same. He’s made all of us proud.”
