The goal of having a fire station in the northern limits of Madison Township came to fruition on Aug. 25 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Station 183. “This station was built on the backs of a lot of people,” said Fire Chief Jeff Fasone, left. Township Trustee Ed Dildine, center left, thanked those involved in the effort, including taxpayers who approved a levy to fund the construction of the station, firefighters, and the construction team. Also pictured are Trustee John Pritchard, center right, and Trustee Chairman John Kershner, right.
