New Mount Sterling council members take oath of office

On Jan. 2, Marci Darlington, newly elected mayor of Mount Sterling, administered the oath of office to newly elected village council member Jordan “Jay” Pettey and newly re-elected council member David Timmons. The next regular Mount Sterling council meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Jan. 13 at town hall.
