A medication vending machine has been delivered and is ready for use at the Pleasant Township Fire Department.
The announcement was made at a recent board of trustees meeting.
According to township officials, the machine will make restocking supplies after runs easier for the firefighters. The vending machine will be used after returning from runs to restock with necessary items such as medication prior to going out on the next emergency. The machine will dispense the medication and all of the tracking of the medications is done right inside the machine, which is also tied into the station’s Internet and systems.
The vending machine will help streamline the process for dispensing these necessary supplies in a timely fashion to the department.

The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio is looking to potentially do a non-franklin county rates change. They will be using a public approval process and will be creating a southwest rate advisory board, which would invite participation from one individual to represent each community on the board. Trustee Ed Sheets will be representing Pleasant Township.
