The 1st Annual London Turn-Key Nationals will take place June 20-22 at the Madison County Fairgrounds, 205 Elm St., London. The event is open to all makes and models of muscle cars, hot rods and race cars, including replica automobiles, rat rods, roadster models A and T, and other hand-built cars.

The cost to register a car is $35 for all three days. Vendors can set up a booth for $100. General admission for spectators is $8 at the gate for ages 13 and older. Children are admitted free.

Special guest Peter Brock will speak at London High School, 336 Elm St., on June 20. He will sign autographs starting at 5 p.m., followed by his talk at 6:30. Tickets are $25.

Brock has been involved with competition, race cars and photography since he went to his first road race in 1952. To this day, he spends most of his time writing and photographing the sport.

Brock recently completed the book, “Corvette Sting Ray: Genesis of an American Icon.” In 1957, Brock was a young designer at GM. The company’s vice president chose Brock’s sketch as the direction GM would take for the split window Corvette. In the book, Brock tells the inside story of how the car came to be with more than 160 photos and over 20 of his original sketches.
