National Night Out in West Jefferson

The village of West Jefferson hosted National Night Out (NNO) activities on Aug. 3 at the West Jefferson Community Center. The purpose of NNO is to bring together law enforcement personnel, first responders, and the community in a family-friendly setting. The night included free food, first responder vehicle displays, a MedFlight landing, and children’s activities.

Parents line up with their children to get an up-close look at the MedFlight helicopter that landed on the Community Center lawn. MedFlight also made a landing Choctaw Lake’s National Night Out event.
