Nine Madison-Plains FFA members were awarded the State FFA Degree at the 80th Ohio FFA Convention. The State FFA Degree is based on members’ participation in the FFA on the state and local levels, and the establishment of productive SAE projects outside of class. Members must compete in career development events, earn more than $3,000 from their SAE projects, maintain a GPA higher than 2.0, and have a 93 percent or higher attendance rate throughout their high school careers. This degree is awarded to less than 2 percent of the 22,000 FFA members in Ohio.
