Tim McComas of Brush Works Lines & Lettering paints a Masonic logo on a motorcycle at the Spring Fun Run and Car Show held May 17 at the Madison County Fairgrounds in London. The 9th District of the Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio sponsored the event, which started in Springfield with a bike ride and scavenger hunt.
A mixture of cool cars, hot trucks, and decked out bikes were on hand for the Spring Fun Run and Car Show, which helped to raise money for Special Olympics.
An ice cream maker that “runs like a Deere” is always an eye-catcher, as it was at the Spring Fun Run and Car Show. Bob and Don’s Homemade Ice Cream is made on-site and the power source is a 1934 John Deere hit-skip engine. Bob Thomas and Don Simmons, shown here, attend about 20 fairs, festivals and other events a year. They have tried more modern means of power but prefer their traditional John Deere.
