Monterey Elementary hosts a night with superheroes

Grove City Police Officer Aaron Ragland reads “Even Superheroes Make Mistakes” to an enraptured audience that includes several students from Monterey Elementary and fellow officer Mark White. The two, along with a firefighter from the Jackson Township Fire Department and former Ohio State football players Drew Basil and George Makridis, were at the school on Feb. 12 for ‘Superhero Read Night.’ The event was sponsored by the school’s Parent Teacher Association and coincided with a book fair and parent teacher conferences.
