The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) named Monroe Elementary in the Jonathan Alder Local School District as a 2019 High Progress School of Honor. Recognition is based on high English language arts and math performance on the State Report Card for the last five years.
Here, some of Monroe’s staff and students pose with the banner in their Alder gear.
Additionally, ODE presented Jonathan Alder Junior High and the district as a whole with Momentum Awards. This marks the fourth consecutive year the junior high has received the award.
