On Nov. 26, dozens of Londoners and residents of the neighboring communities came out to experience a winter wonderland as the 1811 Downtown District hosted its annual Old Fashioned Christmas. For four hours, visitors shopped for gifts at the area businesses, tried their best to make homemade crafts, met Santa Claus and a few reindeer, and generally had a delightful time despite the weather outside being so frightful. Helping to bring a bit of additional cheer to the festivities was Galloway resident Eve Breedlove, who volunteered to read a number of books like the interactive children’s book “Only You Can Save Christmas!: A Help-the Elf Adventure” by Adam Wallace and the holiday classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” by Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel.
