Memorial Day in Lockbourne

The Hamilton Township High School band played each military branch theme at the Lockbourne Memorial Day Commemoration on May 27. This enabled each veteran to stand and be recognized by the audience when their branch theme was played.
Lockbourne veteran Bennett Smith Jr., known as Ben Smith, was honoree at the Lockbourne Memorial Day Commemoration on May 27. Smith served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1974 to 1986. He was stationed at Marine Corps Air Stations throughout his service that spanned from Japan to the Carolinas.
A 21 gun salute was fired at the Lockbourne Memorial Day Commemoration on May 27 by the 121st ARW Honor Guard.
