Memorial Day in Canal Winchester

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts from Troop/Pack 103 in Canal Winchester salute the flag after raising it at the beginning of a Memorial Day ceremony on May 31 in Union Grove Cemetery.
Members of the honor guard from VFW Post 10523 escorted the flags to the podium area before scouts raised the colors.

Canal Winchester Mayor Mike Ebert welcomed the crowd assembled at Union Grove Cemetery for the Memorial Day ceremony. The agenda included music provided by the Canal Winchester High School band, an address by Col. Gregg Hesterman, director of staff, Air Joint Force HQ, Ohio Air National Guard, and dedication of a memorial bench by the local VFW post.
