Master Gardeners offering $1,000 scholarship

The Madison County Master Gardener Volunteers will grant a $1,000 scholarship to a student who is interested in pursuing a plant-based science degree, such as in the areas of agronomy, botany, horticulture, landscaping, forestry, environment, conservation, or agriculture.

The applicant must be a Madison County resident or a graduate (or graduating senior) of a Madison County high school. College students currently enrolled in a plant-related major may apply as well.

Interested students can apply online at or pick up an application from any Madison County high school or the OSU Extension Office, 215 Elm St., London. The application deadline is April 1.
