On Nov. 26, dozens of families throughout central Ohio and beyond visited Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park to make holiday artwork made from materials predominately found in the wild. Here, 4-year-old Mikaylee Barnhart, (above) of Cardington, and 4-year-old twins Julia and Victoria Barlowe, of Orient, show off Christmas tree and owl decorations make from sticks and pinecones, respectively. Park volunteers said how-to-guides will be available on their Facebook page, and there will also be another Nature Crafts event on Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Nature Center.
