The following candidates submitted a cover letter and resume to indicate their interest in the vacant Madison Township trustee position, by the Jan. 6 deadline.
The applicants are seeking to fill the seat left vacant when former trustee Michele Reynolds won the District 3 Ohio State Senate race in November.
The applicants, in no particular order, are: Valerie Swanson, Canal Winchester; Bruce Jarvis, Canal Winchester; Debbie Miller, Columbus (unincorporated Madison Township); Scott Clinger, Groveport; Tina Welch, Canal Winchester; Andrew Nimely, Groveport; and Sharon Heaton, Canal Winchester
Township officials said the plan is to begin the interview process the week of Jan. 9.
