The Madison-Plains sixth-grade girls’ basketball team won the Miami Valley Youth Basketball League gold division championship with a 28-25 win over previously unbeaten North Union.
The Eagles defeated Jonathan Alder in the semi-finals and finished the season with a 12-1 record. The team has gone 34-1 the last three seasons.
The team includes: (from left) Coach Mark Mason, Emery Mason, Alena Walker, Lyla Henry, Addison Meade, Izzy Meade, Leah Stroup, Kendall Mason, Kinsley Bolin, and Coach Ashley Stroup.
