Madison County’s Hometown Heroes announced

The American Red Cross of Scioto Valley has announced the slate of honorees for its ninth annual Madison County Hometown Heroes breakfast. The recognition event will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. June 19 in the St. Patrick Elementary gymnasium, 226 Elm St., London.

The community was invited to nominate residents of Madison County who have gone above and beyond to positively impact lives in area neighborhoods.

An executive panel chose the following individuals for recognition:

Adult Hero—Alice Kennedy;

Board of Director Award—Lucas and Jolinda Gutierrez;

Education Heroes—Sue Hostetler and Diane Self;

Lifetime Achievement—Loretta Weimer; and

Workplace Hero—Brenda McNeal.
