London swim team places 5th among 27 teams at Trotwood Invite

London High School’s boys’ swim team competed in the Trotwood Invitational on Dec. 10 at Trotwood-Madison High School. As a team, London placed fifth out of 27 scoring teams.
London’s individual and relay results were as follows:

• 200-yard medley relay–Luke Thompson, Isaac Capell, Isaiah Capell, and James Thompson, fifth (2:01.01);

• 100-yard freestyle–Isaiah Capell, 12th (59.51); and Gabe Scholl, 42nd (1:10.66);

• 100-yard individual medley–Isaac Capell, seventh (1:07.01); and Caelan Mars, 38th (1:27.44);

• 50-yard freestyle–Luke Thompson, third (24.92); and James Thompson, 51st (31.32)

• 50-yard butterfly–Isaiah Capell, 19th (29.70);

• 50-yard backstroke–Luke Thompson, second (29.13); and Caelan Mars, 51st (47.17);

• 50-yard breaststroke–Isaac Capell, sixth (34.22); James Thompson, 43rd (42.75); and Gabe Scholl, 46th (43.60);

• 200-yard freestyle relay–Luke Thompson, Caelan Mars, Isaiah Capell, and Isaac Capell, seventh (1:47.16).
