The London Strawberry Festival is looking for volunteers to help in the shortcake tent, information booth, and beer tent. The festival will take place June 22-24 in downtown London.
Volunteers in the shortcake tent will assemble and serve shortcakes and keep the area clean. Teens and adults are welcome. There must be one adult age 21 or older in the tent at all times.
Volunteers in the information booth will answer questions about where things are located, contact board members as needed, and sell souvenirs. They also will handle contest entries, 50/50 raffle tickets, and collecting Strawberry Food votes. If the shortcake tent gets swamped, these volunteers may need to assist in the shortcake tent. The area needs to be kept clean and neat.
Beer tent volunteers must be 21 or older. These volunteers will sell beer and check IDs. They will need to keep the area clean and neat.
All groups covering shifts in any of these locations are welcome to wear their organizational shirt and pass out information about their organization.
Those wishing to become a London Strawberry Board member must be at least 18 years old and have volunteered during an entire year with the London Strawberry Festival.
